This is a late first cut mixed grass hay. It was cut late in the season so it is somewhat browner, stemmier, and more mature. It is still clean, well cured hay, but it is not our highest quality or softest hay. This hay would fit in well as a supplemental hay for your animals. It is a good option for animals that don't require especially high protein or highly digestible forage.

A good, solid first cut. Not exceptionally stemmy or super soft. Your average run of the mill hay. Good for all but the most picky of horses and all other livestock. Please note that the field this hay comes from is very large. Thus there is some variation in the grass from one end of the field to the other. These photos try to encompass the whole spectrum.

Tested low in sugar and starch. Suited to metabolic or laminitic-prone horses that need tight WSC control.

Sturdy, stemmy first cut. A solid everyday choice for easy keepers and mature horses in light work.
